If I were ever to write a television show, it'd probably be the dullest thing ever: all the characters would be more-or-less normal, everything would always turn out happy and all the drama would be incredibly boring day-to-day things, with occasional big dramas that none-the-less wouldn't affect any of the favored relationships of the show.

It would be a 45 minute, less dramatic version of Friends. Except, obviously, better.

I am currently fangirling over a pairing where one of the characters is a Catholic priest and now spoilers seem to indicating that the ex (who beat up his later-boyfriend because he couldn't deal with his own homophobia and was totally emotionally abusive, yay!) is back on the scene for that extra pinch of drama and I give up, you know? Too much angst! All the time!

I want a nice peaceful show - it may be time to head back to the happy days of Due South.

I am so with you. I broke up with Grey's Anatomy over the McAngsty-ness because I just. Could. Not Deal. I haven't watched SGA in more than a season because I can't deal with the angsty stress of the overarching storyline. Why can't it all be puppies and kittens and rainbows? *is a sad panda*
