( Music of the 80s, ain't it grand? )
Good night last night - I went to a goodbye party for a friend who's leaving for New Zealand and apart from the normal angst associated with that kind of thing (OMG, not a social person) and the bonus angst (OMG, in a year this will be ME *faints*), it was great fun, particularly since I talked to a few people outside my normal group and managed to have a conversation with a friend of mine with out utterly embarassing myself. Or being drunk. So that was pretty good. (I did get a little bit drunk later, and WHOA I need to learn to curb the personal information when tipsy. Hello.) So that was good.
Then I was supposed to go to the French culture thing in Copenhagen tonight (French movie, then after-party, with only French music and drinks) with the two Rasmus's, but sadly I wasn't able to get a ticket. So I stayed home and chatted with my dad instead. That was pretty cool.
And now I'm sitting watching one of the Lucas/Spielberg movies. And vaguely contemplating writing fic, except I'm almost at the part when I start crying - not conducive to writing. Well, at least not while I'm still physically crying. Afterwards it might turn out to be quite a good mood setter. Mwahaha.
Meanwhile, we're out of tea in this house.
