I AM FREE! Granted, my history examination sucked so much I could've hired it out as a hooker and made good money, but it doesn't matter because I AM DONE. And, with any luck, I've scored the 40% which will insure that I never take another history class in my life ever.

This deserves a dance or eight.

Also, my birthday was awesome, which I'm very squeeful about, and I am currently experiencing amounts of GLEE that cannot be contained about next year. Because I am a loon, I spent ten minutes reading the newly published dissertation titles while waiting for the English office to sign my slip, and I CAN'T WAIT! Can I do it next term? Can I? Can I? But even without the disseration, next year will still be awesome. Chaucer! Sense & Satire! Critical Theory, love of my academic life!

Also glee-inducing? Human Nature. Oh, Martha! I'll have more comments after this weekend, but seriously. Glee! Who just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it?

I have no wise comments on FanLib and Warriors of Innocence, because I'm not up to speed on them; please to be providing links to get me so?

Finally, I have a million books I want to read. And time to do so now! (Oh - and the entire first season of DuckTales. Because Gemma = awesome!)

Human Nature broke my heart in the way only great television can.

I really shouldn't be here (I wasted lots of time yesterday cleaning and then following the WiF thing) so I'll just post the links I have right now.

They did get some true pedophile comms, but also lots and lots of innocent comms/journals. I know of at least one child abuse and rape survivor who had her account permanently suspended.

i kind of wish now that i'd paid attention to the FanLib stuff. huh.

but i can honestly say that Strikethrough2007 (as i'm seeing the Warriors For Innocence getting a bangload of LJs deleted thing called) has caused everyone in bandslash to freak out, and now fandom is, in general, an uncomfortable place to live right now. :(

but i will say, all the stuff that i wrote for you and sofie is friendslocked, and you guys are still added to my fic journal if you had it memoried or anything like that, kay? ♥

I think you should, for the time being, flock all fics that contain "questionable content" like, for example, incest or under-age (a funny concept, because for some, this means under 18, while for *me* it means under 15).

in my state, age of consent is 16, but i think that if there's more than four years, it becomes statutory rape again.

I've heard something about a public statement from LJ conserning the deleting, but I haven't found it yet.
