Hee! I just discovered I have three versions of 'Wild Rover' on my iTunes (now, when in Hell, and how, did they get there?) U2, Dropkick Murphy's and the Dubliners. Ahaha, I <3 that song. It was the first song I hear after I got off the plane, when I moved to the States (yes, my aunt has a thing for Irish Drinking music. I don't know) so I get all nostaligic and giggly listening to it. Hee, it's so good.

Man, I need to get a CD of this stuff. Hm, put it on my shopping list, then.

Irish drinking music?
That sounds so random but amusing.

Oh, it is random, but it's hilarious and easy to sing-a-long, which is a bonus in my book ;)

So, I dunno if we're thinking of the same song, because I've never heard any of those versions of it, but does it have a bit that says "no nay never, no nay never no more" and some clapping? Cuz I know a song that does something like that that I've sang with multiple times a Renfaire functions (beating hands on tables instead of clapping, because we're cavemen, lol), and wonder if it's the same?

But like I said, I don't know, cuz I've never heard any of those songs. I think? What?
