I just got my undergrad prospectus [prospecti?] from Leicester and Newcastle upon Tyne. Yay!

Sadly, the requirements for English are even higher than I anticipated. I'd have to average in at 10, or at least 9.8, and I'm currently balancing at 9.6.

Someone want to help me in math, physics and geography?

Edit: Oooh, American Studies with a year in the US. Cool.

Edit the Second: I should probably remember that I have an eyedoctor time next Saturday, 10.15.

Whee, Newcastle! I just got my grade offers from them this morning, for if I want to go next year. I've never actually been to the city, but the English course sounds good, and I'm told it's nice. It can be pretty tough to get into, though.

Wow. That's a pretty high average. It's not that I don't think you can handle it (because you can! you're one of the most determined people I know!), it's just a lot higher than mine! But that doesn't matter, because we'll both have the average we'll need for whatever it is we want to do!

It is, and if I have to take physics for exams I'm screwed. Good news is I can subtract gym, art and music from my average, if I want, which will undoubtably help. And I want to do this. This is a degree I can really get interested in, it's something I burn to do. I am not smart enough for a traditionally useful degree, like what you want, or Sofie, but this...I could be so good at this.

You are definitely smart enough to do this. And it also helps a lot that you burn for it, because that can give you the energy to give it just a bit more, so you can get the grades you want. I think you should definitely get English A next year. You'd kick so much ass!
