Erhm. VH1 is having a U2 day, and every third song is a U2 song. And there was just a LiveAid doc. As a result of all this, and a certain post-mania on my f-list, Danish is going very, very slowly. *looks at three sentences* Hey, I needed to go look for icons in the middle of this! See? So not my fault.

Well, they've changed it to So 80's, which means I may actually get work done.

My current physics report title is: -actual title which I can't be bothered to translate- a report in seven acts. I should possibly change that before uploading it.

Check this out!

Political cafe was good today, despite my misgivings. Possibly due to the lighting, Carl Petersen looked like Spock. That coupled with his accent left me with a soft spot for him. Well! He was sensible and left leaning. I appriciate that in a person.

Also, Iran might have nuclear weapons, Russia is building them, and I do not trust Putin. In the least.

Also, in the grand scheme of things, Italy does not win.

And Bob Geldof is terrifying. And rather annoying.

From what I hear from Clara, Jeppe was totally cute. Just from shat she said, my crush is a small bit bigger. She is trying to take him over and make him her crush, but he is mine! Mine, I tell you!!

Italy sucks so much political ass right now and has done for the last few years. It really rally scares me sometimes!

Heh! He was, though he completely sidestepped the question about funds. I know that Konservative and Venstre fool around with theirs, so it seems less, but that doesn't change the fact that SD forgot to tell people paying to unions that, hey, some of their money ended in SD's pockets. It's understandable, yes, but it amused me none-the-less.

There's that, then there's the whole lack of young people thing that the EU will end up paying for, I suppose. And I've never really been all that enamoured of Italy to begin with. I understand why people are, it's an intriguing country, and beautiful, but it just doesn't appeal to me.

I love love love Italy, but they have some serious issues they need to deal with. The fact that they have too few children and that the country is corrupt as hell is just some of them. But apart from that, Italy is one of the greatest countries in the world. They have the most magnificent cultural history (and just their history in general), they are one of the kindest and friendliest people I know and it is just a wonderful and beautiful country.

Yes, I like Italy.

I don't have antagonistic feeling towards Italy (except Milano. 'Cause Milano sorta sucks), it just doesn't appeal to me. Historically, yes, but travel-wise, not really. Then again, I don't particularly like South France either, so it might just be a Mediterreanian thing.

It might be my upbringing, which has been extremely Italian-friendly, but I just really don't understand when people don't like Italy. To me the only problem is the politics, but you can easily forget all about politics when you're eating Italian ice cream while lying on one of the nicest beaches in Europe. And then eating the best food in a nice little restaurant.

I love Italy!

See, that's what I figure too. Sort of like me and America.

And anyway, I'll get used to it, since my dad plans on moving there when he retires ;) (My dad has an insane fondness for Italy. He's in love with it, particularly the food).

I think you're right. Both countries are so far out poltically, but we can both (sorta) like 'our' country in spite of that.
