You know, it's entirely possible that sleeping two hours just now wasn't particularly smart. Hm.
School was actually decent today (which shouldn't suprise me, since how can a day, waking up to discover you left the CiCP on repeat and feel asleep with it on be bad?), played Agony Aunt for poor Mathias, who's experiencing something not completely unlike what Sofie and , to a lesser extent, I am going through. Am beginning to believe that everyone who willingly submits to year two in Danish highschool should see a professional. I wonder whether it's just our school system, or a general thing.
Speaking of school systems, I really, really hate the implication that because I went to school when I was three, I am somehow "less" than the Danish student who started when she/he/it was seven. I also resent the implication that my early school start is the reason for my social timidness. Yes, because I totally wasn't social in England, no. 'Course not, what am I thinking? And my thinking is a lot worse for the wear because I went to English school, where they do not teach you to think for yourself, OMG!
Despite how this sounds, actually had a good discussion in Social Studies about it today.
Geography was great. We're currently doing reproduction rates, and were working cases. Due to not being able to keep my big mouth shut, ended up working on the case for Indonesia on my own. Which was really, really intriguing, because it sort of relates to my current book. Hep hey!
M*A*S*H is in fifteen minutes, so I shall wander vaguely bedward and hope I don't fall asleep.
Oh, and on that note, let me pimp
autumnalis who writes excellent poetic Hawkeye/Trapper (shut up. I still love BJ more. *cuddles BJ to death*) and humourous, yet angsty Crowley/Arizphale. Go read!
Oooh, there was an Isabel Allende article in the paper this morning. <3. I have to read "Mi Pais Inventado" at some point. (I have the Spanish version, I'm just not sure I'm brave enough to try...)
I need more icons!! (they're like drugs. O_O)
