Dear Random Memembers of the Danish Public;

Do not go to concerts if you are just going to stand and stare, and clap vapidly. Do not go to concerts and then start leaving in the middle and step on my toes. Do not go to a concert, stand there clapping mildly and then FUCKING LOOK AT ME STRANGELY WHEN I YELL. OR DANCE. OR CLAP. OR CHEER.

Some people just don't understand the concept of a concert. It's supposed to be fun. A concert is supposed to be 60% music/band and 40% audience. I do not go to stand and stare. I go to have fun.

Anyway. Plan was to go home, watch the S&GiCP, and then sleep. A lot.

Ended up going to Kim's place with a few friends from class, having dinner there and then going to see Swan Lee in Tivoli. Amazing concert. So cool, and Pernille, the lead singer is just *sexy*. She has tonnes of stage presence, looks good and just seems to come alive on stage. Plus, I have this huge impulse to slash her and the really cute back up singer/bassist. They were flirting, it was so adorable! Also, saw Julie (she was the one who invited me). I miss her so much sometimes, she's so easy and relaxed to talk to, it's lovely. And she's non-judgemental and yet she calls you on it when you're BSing. Heh.

Anyway, this weekend is cleanup, writing and OMG! Danish essay. Gah. I *hate* Danish essays. *le sigh*

But I shall not worry, because even though classes today sucked it is FRIDAY! *does dance of joy* And that means 7 *looks at clock* SIX DAYS TILL FREYA COMES!!!! *does dance of jubilation*

*runs around in happy circles*

And I am going to bed.

Need to find info re: gay marriage and C of D

Gay Marriage has been banned in Australia, the last place on earth I'd expect it to be banned.

C of D? I've no idea what that means.

Maybe she meant C of E?

She meant C of D as in Church of Denmark. I am actually that lazy ;)

Currently there is discussion of giving gays full marriage rights, up to and including the right to marry in the church that we pay taxes to.

Yeah, after LBL named Anders Fogh Aarets Laks, it's come up again. Just heard it on the news yesterday

Okie dokey.

I wonder if there's a Church of America...?

Probably not. The C of E and C of D are both state churches - we pay taxes to them, approx one million dollars a year + church tax if you're a member in Denmark (don't have the numbers for England). The Bill of Rights more or less forbids this kind of thing in America.

*nodnodnod* Separation of Church and State. Makes loads of sense to me. That blew me away. You have to pay taxes to a church? That's wild.

I know. It sucks. I am currently not even a member, but I'm still paying taxes to. Or, I would be, were I 18.

I want true seperation of Church and State in Denmark. Seriously.

*scoffs* Though it's in the Constitution/Bill of Rights, even America doesn't really have separation of Church and State. Sad, isn't it?

It really is. We have a church we pay for that most people don't want. This is also sad.

There really is no perfect solution to this...

I know. That just...that scared me.

C of D is Church of Denmark. The Danish government is considering giving gays full marriage rights (we currently have the equivalent of civil unions), up to and including the right to get married in the State Church we pay taxes to.

I know! I read that and said, 'Wait a minute, this is Australia! They don't do things like that in Australia!' Of all places, I never expected it to be banned there.

C of D is Church of Denmark.

Oh! Okay. Makes sense now.

I *love* Swan Lee. Not that I've heard a lot of their music, but what I have heard, I liked.

Danish essays are le suck. They suck so much they could be used as vacuum cleaners. What's it about?

ONLY SIX DAYS?! WHEEEEEEEEEEE!
