Dear Yuletide writer,
First of all: thank you and you're awesome for doing this.
Second of all: likes, dislikes etc.
I'm not really picky - I'm not a big fan of incest, or death fic or over-much kink, but that's about it. I'm a big slash fan (as you might have noticed), but if you want to write gen, go crazy - I love a well-plotted gen story. If you do write slash, I love first time stories, but then again some of my favourite fics are established relationship, so don't feel constrained. I tend to prefer pg-13 to R rated stories, but if you have a graphic porn bunny, you should feel free to go crazy and if you want to write about Danny and Nicholas drinking hot chocolate and holding hands...I'd probably still get ridiculously giddy and happy, so yes.
Which brings me neatly to specific requests:
Merlin: This is the only request I want to be quite specific about - I really, really want femslash. I feel it's unrepresented! But if femslash isn't your thing, Morgana has to be doing something during the day, right? I mean, we see all of Arthur and Merlin's hijinks, but it's never really made clear what Morgana does - and it's Morgana, so you know she's doing *something* interesting. So, if you want to write an adventure story with Morgana and Gwen, that would be awesome also.
World Without End: I have wanted fic for this since I read it, like, a year ago. I know I put in specific character requests, but seriously - you can write anything. I just like the universe and the characters. I would adore Claude/Henri first time, but established fic, trying to find some time together, or episolary fic after the end of the book - anything with those two would make me happy.
Hot Fuzz: It is pretty much proven fact that Danny/Nicholas makes the world a better place. Whatever you want to do with them is fine by me - just as long as they're the focus, I'm a happy bunny.
Fried Green Tomatoes: See above. Anything about Idgie and Ruth's life together that you feel is inspiring; I will read it.
