I...kind of still dislike John Barrowman.

Overall, I kind of loved it - I even got a thrill seeing Torchwood again, which was weird (apparently my love for Gwen hasn't died. Or my affection for Ianto.) John Barrowman's acting, however, remains more hilarious than moving, and kind of destroyed some of the episode for me - like, I know I was supposed to be worried about Martha and Project Indigo, but mostly I was giggling at Jack's stupid face.
However, I adored Rose for everything (except her jealousy of Martha - not awesome, RTD, not awesome - and the stupid running scene), which was a very nice feeling. Particularly because I think she'll get over herself about Martha in the next one.
And I loved Donna's remarks about Rose. I felt like I shouldn't, but I did, because that's what I love about the Doctor and Donna - they're best friends and want to see each other happy, and that's what came out when Donna was talking about Rose. In fact, everything about Donna and the Doctor in this episode made me happy. So much team work! Finding the lost planets! Being generally lovely! Donna's practicality makes me so happy, too. And her despair when the Doctor seemed to be giving up was heartbreaking.
Other notes: Martha was ace as always - even though Tom Mulligan is still invisible, boo - Sarah Jane was utterly, utterly endearing, as was her son, and they can't kill Torchwood! Boo!
Also: Am I alone in hoping the Doctor regenerates into not-Tennant? yes? Okay then.
In conclusion: DONNA ♥!
