How utterly amazing is this? And not just because it makes my inner JCS/Bible geek dance, I truly think it's awesome for the way the Bible is *read*. Wonderful news to wake up too, particularly when you are, like I was, completely dead from football. Something about standing up for two hours yelling at the top of your lungs really takes it out of a girl.
What else is new? First real day of spring today! Why, I hear you ask? Because I shot my first outdoor hoops today, so yes. Spring is come!
Oh, and hi? Why has no one told me that the Bayeux Tapestry is in Denmark? Dammit! There goes my Sunday. and by all this, i clearly mean histoy! squee!

Saw it last Tuesday in Latin :D

Date: 2006-04-09 12:04 pm (UTC)You have Nanna for Latin, then? What did you think of it?

Date: 2006-04-09 04:06 pm (UTC)Well, it wasn't the Bayeux Tapestry. It was a copy as the Bayeux Tapestry aren't allowed to leave the, ehh, Normandie (Uhm). But it was quite okay. According to those who had seen the Bayeux Tapestry, you could actually better see the "actions" on this copy :)
I'm never going to response to a comment while drunk again. This took me... 10 minutes to write O.o

Date: 2006-04-09 05:31 pm (UTC)Yay for commenting drunk!!!

Date: 2006-04-09 05:35 pm (UTC)Have you any idea how hard it was? I had to rewrite that comment several times, and, looking at my last post, I'm going, "WTF?" Next time I'm stopping when half the bottle is gone -_-

Date: 2006-04-09 05:39 pm (UTC)At least it was just wine. After a bottle of Fishermans, you physically cannot write. Certainly not if you've complimented that bottle with champagne and wine...*hits self*

Date: 2006-04-09 06:26 pm (UTC)Fishermans? O.o Man, I can't believe you can drink that. Bvadr!

Date: 2006-04-09 07:10 pm (UTC)Hee, doesn't it? It's so happy.
Oh, and which good book?
(no subject)
Date: 2006-04-09 07:29 pm (UTC)Ah, yes. And the wording. "cunt" is a great word!
I'm not entirely sure. Maybe I'm going to reread a Pratchett book. Or maybe Sieben Jahre in Tibet. Or The Name of the Rose. Or... Or... Urg. I have too many good books -_-
(no subject)
Date: 2006-04-09 07:34 pm (UTC)Cunt is the most awesome word ever. Emptomologically speaking, I prefer it to vagina.
I'm re-reading The Wyrd Sisters, which of course is awesomeness. But I know the feeling of too many books - I want to re-read my Holmes, Earthly Joys, Fingersmith, Tipping the Velvet, Seven Pillars of Wisom...Oh, the list goes one.
(no subject)
Date: 2006-04-09 07:54 pm (UTC)Oh, absolutely. Vagina sounds so... clinical. Boring.
Urg, that's a lot of good books too. Or so I have heard. Personal, I have never read any of them *hides*

Date: 2006-04-09 08:41 pm (UTC)Vagina also means sheaf, in Latin or something like that. Very disturbing.
Hee, well, again, you're always welcome to borrow some *g* And you've never read Wyrd Sisters?!
(no subject)
Date: 2006-04-09 08:54 pm (UTC)*checks* You're thinking about sheath. But, yeah, disturbing O.o
Yay!
And you've never read Wyrd Sisters?!
No *blush* I am, unfortunately, not a owner of many Pratchett books :( Only 7-8 books :( So there are many I haven't read. Yet.

Date: 2006-04-09 08:58 pm (UTC)Erk! V.v. disturbing.
Woo!
You should read it! You'll enjoy it, I think, particularly if you know anything at all about MacBeth.
