Hello! I do believe I am home. At last!

I kid, a little anyway. It is good to be home, but I enjoyed my holiday(s) loads. A quick recap for those interested:

Istanbul - Beautiful city, the bazaar rocks, school stuff was so-so, had great fun, drank far too much. Have made new friends, which is *weird*

Norway - Very pretty nature, have no clue where precisely we were, spent a lot of time sailing which was great, however ferrys suck. Started The Historian which is wonderful, if very, very creepy.

Bath - Very pretty girlfriend, was incredibly nice, Bristol is strange, however I had a lovely time.

And there we go. My vacation in sentence fragments, for your enjoyment.

And now that I am home, I have gone straight into panicking about my application. But I have made a good start today, at least - I just need a referee, to write up my reference, then to write up my grades and we're golden. Or at least we should be. I'd hate to think I just spent an hour paring my stupid personal statement down to 4,000 characters for nothing. That would leave me a little bitter.

However, there is one small thing. I can't decide whether I want to apply to Newcastle, Leicester or Reading for my sixth university. Well, okay, that's a lie - I want to apply to Newcastle [AAB, which incidentally would leave me with 3 universities demanding AAB, 2 asking for ABB and Lancaster needing a BBB. So the question is: do I switch it to Leicester [ABB], Reading [BBB] or do I leave it as it is, with Newcastle? And as is with all these kinds of crisis, I put the question to my friendslist. I trust in your wisdom.

Meanwhile, Jamie Cullum is actually incredibly good. His new album, anyway. Particularly Londom Skies. And his version of Fascinating Rhythm. And Photographs, which is actually very Billy Joel-esque. With a side of jazz.

Oh, and you know what else is good? Having my computer back. *hugs it* Never leave me again, baby!

Eeeee!! You're back! It's been so lonely here without you :(

And yay you for having a good time! I was a bit worried after you sent me that text message, but apparently I needn't have worried! Who did you make friends with?

Go for Newcastle! That's where I am right now on an English degree, and believe me, it's a wonderful place. I get the feeling that they can be a little more lenient with entry grades than some other places, too- I only got ABB, but since one of my B grades was fairly close to an A they let me in anyway.

I have no idea about the universities. I just took Reading because it's sounded best ;)
