Am I the only one who sees these lists and goes "reading list for me"?

*wanders of to reserve I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings*

Link's here, if you're feeling subversive

I've seen this list a hundred times at least, and yet I am always surprised. For instance - Cujo?

(Also, is that Jesse L. Martin I spy in your moodtheme? I am collapsed from pretty.)

I know! And it's always amazed me that there are like three Roald Dahl books on there - I practically learned to read reading them.

Also - Where's Waldo? That will never ever cease to make me go "WTF?"

(That'd be him, yep *g*)

No you're not O.o

If I remember right, several of these books have been on my reading-list-when-I-grow-up in a looong time (I can't find a link to the list of the books banned right now. Yay, I'm so good O.o). They are must read books!

Where's Waldo? is on the list? WTF?

I read to of the books (Tiger Eye and Are You There, God?) when I was little and thought they where kind of boring.

I'm amused by the fact that we read an excerpt from Brave New World in English, and the Lord of the Flies is also often used in English classes. And they're both on the list.

... The Adventures of Tom Sawyer???

Thanks! :)

Seriously, what is it? Cartoon semi-nudity (on the beach)?

... The guy does seem to like drawing people getting poked in the bum, though... Hmm...

(Yes, I've been spending some quality time with my Where's Wally now?)
