There's a surprising amount of sex in Matador.

Which is my newest obsession, by the way. Very good, very Danish. And the relationships are so sweet and so hurting. It makes me happy (even though some of the parts are rather long. 85 minutes omgwtfbbq?)

Anyway, I'm keeping busy, or rather school is keeping me busy - I have four written assignments within a week, most of them rather large. Mustn't complain really, just wish they had been spaced just a little better. Also wish they hadn't been after this weekend, where I have two birthdays I have to attend.

On the bright side, I just got paid for playing Fifa 2004 for three hours (well, that and babysitting for ages Wednesday and Thursday), plus Autumnal bonus for, apparently, being a good sport for the kids. So yay! Grey dufflecoat, here I come (you know. As soon as I get a day to myself, which with my luck will be next Wednesday). And possibly a pair of shoes. And, naturally, presents for the family.

And on the other bright side, the weather's been beautiful - it's so wonderfully autmunal, with all the pretty leaves, and the not-quite-cold weather, and the sunshine. It's very happy-making, at least.

And on the third bright side, I've seen Corpse Bride which is so damn cute and lovely and ghostly and I love. I went to see it with Julie who is still one of the best people ever; we spent about three hours in a café after the show talking about everything, it felt so damn good.

Also, Elisabeth and Kristen really are heartbreakingly sweet.
