Hardly mentally superior to the common Londoner

So, I maybe a few years late to the party, but man - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is funny. He's hilarious. He's wonderful. No, seriously. I know I should have probably clued into this a little earlier (say, sometime during my reading of the Sherlock Holmes canon (except the Mazarin Stone, which I have yet to read)), but he's a damn good writer.
