Things I'm forced to read for Danish

I am currently nursing the belief that all poets from the Romantic period (approx. 1800-1870) have been recreated as the people we mock on deleterius and fandom_wank.

Jesus Christ, what is WRONG with them? It's all Woe is me, she does not love me which moves on to Woe! She wants me, but we can't get married and then becomes Oh woe, we're married but she doesn't understand my PAIN! *cuts* *visits whores* .

And I'm not even going to touch their whole Platonic Ideal Relationship i.e. no seks for teh wimmen! theories. They're a bunch of thirteen year olds, sitting in their rooms with too much eyeliner, listening to Evanescence and Linkin Park and complaining about how NO ONE UNDERSTANDS and how they're close with the divine in this world and thus are CONFLICTED. BECAUSE THEY ARE SO DEEP, DAMMIT.

I sort of skipped Social Studies today, and I can't bring myself to feel guilty about it. As a result of this, I enjoyed the rest of the day, even though it was physics and romantic period writers. Best day in school I've had in ages; granted, that isn't saying much, but still.

Been re-reading Monstrous Regiment; this has inspired me to try for another challenge fic, but so far it isn't really going as it should, and next week'll be horrid for writing anything for myself - I have two essays, two math/physics papers. Bah!

speaking of bad habits, my dad just came to talk about my absences. Shit. Shit. Shit. I do not want to talk about it. It is horrendously high. Well, okay, it's like 9.7, but still. My dad is going to kill me.
