1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before? HHm. Took American exams? Had Freya living for a week, that was fun. Can't actually mention a lot of things.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Well, I haven't started smoking, so I guess, yeah. I'll prolly make some this year as well, dontcha know.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? No.
4. Did anyone close to you die? No.
5. What countries did you visit? Um, England, US (4 states), can't remember any others.
6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003? More of a social life.
7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Not so much a date, but. The week that Freya stayed. The 17th of December of course. Day I met Diyva and Tess. The day I left Poq.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? My exams, starting a new school.
9. What was your biggest failure? I didn't do so well at the beginning of the school year, but I'm not counting it as a failure. I can't come up with anything
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Concussion.
11. What was the best thing you bought? Hm. WW dvds?
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Ann and Lee's. They put up with me through so much crap when i was living with them and took such good care of me. I miss them.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Bush
14. Where did most of your money go? CD's, clothes, candy, DVD's, movies, books
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? LotR. Freya. Meeting friends from the internet. School. Going home.
16. What song will always remind you of 2003? You Can't Stop The Beat-Hairspray and Don't Stop Me Now-Queen
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier, but in a different way.
ii. thinner or fatter? Fatter, me thinks.
iii. richer or poorer? Eh. Poorer.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Hung out with old friends, hung out with people in the US, hung out with my American peeps, excerized more.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Less sitting on my lazy ass.
20. How will you be spending Christmas? With my dads family at my uncles house. Traditional party, Christmas eve as always. Then Christmas eve redux on the 27th
22. Did you fall in love in 2003? Nope. Did that last year now, didn't I?
23. How many one-night stands? 0
24. What was your favorite TV program? Queer Eye, West Wing, Queer as Folk
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? Nope.
26. What was the best book you read? Oh man, Annie on my Mind? OotP? Oh! Wuthering Heights, I think. Nope, no, obviously, must be Princess Bride.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Musicals! or not. Queen, Tori Amos, The Darkness
28. What did you want and get? WW dvds, a vist to and from my girlfriend, a kick ass class and good grades. Good scores on my SOLs. Smooth transition back to Denmark.
29. What did you want and not get? MONEY. Can think of about 2000 books I did not get. BIAC.
30. What was your favorite film of this year? Return of the King, Princess Bride, Igby Goes Down.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? Not much, I thought, but Ann and Lee took me out and Mere gave me all these cool gifts and ballons and donuts. I turned 16, sweet 16 ;-)
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Not really.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2003? Jeans and a tee-shirt? With a lot of color and toesocks.
34. What kept you sane? Friends, books, music, school.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Ooh. Miranda Otto, Kate Moennig, Dom, Kyan.
36. What political issue stirred you the most? Iraq, GLBT rights, Abortion issues, race issues in Denmark.
37. Who did you miss? Meredith and Grayson. Anne.
38. Who was the best new person you met? Hmm. Can I just say Tess, Divy and Freya here? Otherwise, Kim, Clara and Ina (Rach, Claire, Chess, Suzy).
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2003: Don't deny a chance if it could open something new. Don't try to be something you're not and most importantly-everything you do will make you grow if you choose to learn the lessons.
