1) Total number of books owned?
Somewhere in the vicinity of 400, I'd think. When I moved from my old room, we counted 364 books, but I've bought a whole lotta books since then.
2) The last book I bought?
Whee! I bought Fried Green Tomatoes, which I didn't actually have money for, but it was so very worth it.
3) The last book I read?
Fried Green Tomatoes, which a wonderful, wonderful book, was the last fiction book I read. Non-fiction, Hellfire Nation.
4) Five books that mean a lot to me?
Not fair to make me choose! Oh, I'll try:
-Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. Still my favourite book, I've read too many times to count.
-The Jungle Book by Ruyard Kipling. My dad used to read that one to me when I was little.
-The Hours by Micheal Cunningham. It's one of the most stunning books ever written.
-Orphea Proud by Sharon Dennis Wyeth. I call this one my surprise book, because I have no memory of ordering it, but it is a lovely book and always makes me so happy and warm inside.
-Reading Lolita in Tehran by Azar Nafisi. The book that truly cemented that I wanted to major in English, but don't read it because of that. Read it because it's a beautiful, heartbreaking, just...excellent book.
5) Five people who shall take this meme?

And any one else who wants it.
From the playlist: How to Pass an Exam using Music (or, less pretentiously titled: music to study by).
Schadenfreude - It's fun, bouncy and makes me giggle. Which isn't always ideal for an exam, but the happiness makes me relax. (From 'Avenue Q')
Role of a Lifetime - I'm in love with the piano in this. It's incredibly depressing, but it's also strangely calming. (From 'Bare')
Take Me Out to the Ballgame - BRUUUUUCE! BASEBALL! WHEE!
Born to Run - Still the best damn studying and exam song ever. If you can resist the need to bounce around maniacally.
Fins - Jimmy Buffet is just fun. And this song is hilarious and upbeat.
The President Song - Or how to remember the US presidents, Animaniacs style.
Only Living Boy in New York - Not only is this a song that works for every single fandom ever in exsistence, it's also a wonderfully sweet song. Which is why it's on every playlist I have.
Hands - Oh, Harry and poor Ron. *hugs* It's not exactly a new idea, but I love Ron in this.
Blue - Boy falling in love. The fandom is Babysitters Club, but you can ignore it and just read it like I do, as a wonderful, wellrounded story. Go, now.
Untitled - you should read this. Even if you hate slash, don't know what newsies is and wouldn't know Jack and David from a hole in the wall, you should read this.
Merchant of Venice icons - buy me this movie. Right now.
On Becoming a Woman - Or thank god I wasn't a teenager in the fifties.
Stareyednight muses on being gay in a more everyday way - And I just nod my head in agreement.
Irisbleu talks about flowers - and that post makes me happy.
I really should be reading up on the Sovjet Union, but I'm just happy I finally have all the books I need to the history assignment. And that I have my outline, my introduction and four full days to write it, this weekend. So instead I'm doing, well, this. And sort of writing fic. Kind of. Just until I have to go to work (in 25 minutes. Gulp.)
Got my final mock-exam date today. It's PE, two days after math, so that's not too bad, at all. And that means my panicked studying for math isn't going to be bothered by the thought that I have other things I should also be studying.
Danish weather is being strangely fucked up. The weather's been bordering on rain all day, but now it seems to have cleared up, except, you know, it's hailing. The sun is shining, hardly any clouds and hail. Dear weather, I give up. *pokes*
Ten days left. I feel like I should do something to commemorate this. "Here Lieth My Last 10 Days as a Legal Child". Or something like that.
ETA: As if to confirm that, LJ just sent me a notice about my paidtime expiring in 10 days. Argh, argh, argh, I'm going to be a grownup by then *flails*
