Jan. 1st, 2005 05:09 pmAh, New Years Day. Marvellous invention, really; get up late, stay in PJ's all day. Best excuse ever for not doing *anything*.
Of course, I am actually sort of doing something; I'm watching 'But I'm a Cheerleader' again and trying to work my iPod. Great times, great times. Would be better if my dad were home, so I could get my hands on the Franz Ferdinan CD in the car so I could get that onto the iPod as well, yay!Ish.
Ergh, I cannot believe it's already past five. Dude. Where'd the day go? (lets ignore the fact that I slept until two, kay? Argh, I've only been up three hours, not good.)
I've been getting L&O cravings, possibly from a combination of the fact that Jerry Orbach died (which is just incredibly surreal, he's one of those actors that just seem like they'll always be there - you know how the big stars, the huge ones who get blockbusters and all that, you know most of them will burn out, disappear, but then there are the constants, the actors who are always there and they're great, they're amazing and they're always around. He was one of those for me, and now he's dead.) and err. alsomaybei'vebeengettingalittleintoozandheechrismeloni, youknow? So, yes, I could do with a marathon, L&O and L&O:SVU. Of course, neither of these shows are shown in Denmark, bah humbug. And the, um, third show I mentioned? Isn't either. Wah, I am showless. *re-watches JCS, then*
Nothing to see here people, nothing to see.

Jan. 1st, 2005 11:14 pmWell, well, well. I really should do resolutions, but I'm pretty sure *everything* I did today would feature on that list as a 'do less of', so I won't. Also because I basically think New Years Resolutions are bullshit and the worst place to start.
Instead I will just comment on how cool it is that my iPod (current name: Maladicta. My iPod is a vampire?) now has 780 songs on it, and still has 16.36 GB left to fill. Incroyible. I'd never be able to fill a 40GB one (ah, I say that now...)
On a related note, OMG Want Two. God, that CD is just incredibly, amazingly awesome. I love it! Particularly 'The One you Love' and 'Crumb by Crumb'. I'm torn about Gay Messiah; on one hand hee! on the other, wtf?! Still, it's a great CD - not as lovely as Poses, but I suppose it hasn't grown on me as much yet.
My other discovery of today: Go Sailor. They're this girly band who did several songs for the 'But I'm a Cheerleader' soundtrack and they're great, fun and bouncy. Lovely, lovely.
Sof, you couldn't try to send the file over gmail, could you? yousendit is being impossible, they keep disconnecting around 80%, it's driving me nuts. Thanks though ;)
ETA: My dad just mentioned that after Andreas moves to Jutland and I move out, he's selling the house. My reaction to this wasn't so much 'Oh, no, house of my childhood sold *woe*' as it usually is when talk to houseselling comes around (you'd think after having lived in about *7* I'd be used to it...); this was rejected in favour of spending ten minutes paralyzed at the thought that I am going be old enough to move out soon. Jesus Christ. I don't even vaguely feel adult enough to be 17, let alone 18, and moving out? Eek.

Jan. 1st, 2005 11:56 pmFinally, some good news. It truly is, though; not just because it's wonderful for gay people in Spain to get rights, it's also a step that aknowledges that in the eyes of this government, homosexuality is not a sin; in a Catholic country, I find that pretty cool.
Also, some countries, who pride themselves on their ingrained democracies, their fights for civil liberties, civil rights and let's not forget freedom, should look at this country, with it's less-than-forty-year-old democracy; a country with state sanctioned religion.
America, I'm lookin' at you.
