My dad taped Billy Joel for me. He was watching VH1 last night and a Billy Marathon came on! Yayness!

In other news, La Casa De Los Espiritos is absolutely amazing. I am in love with Clara (Clara from my class is actually named after her, Clara the clearsighted. I think her parents have a thing for Latino names, since shubassdk Is Clara's older sister). But she is an amazing character. And now that we're o the subject, Ferula is most defintely in love with Clara, whether Isabel Allende meant for her to be or no. (Though I think she did, she mentions that Ferula's love for Clara is 'more than Clara could ever return' and that 'Ferula's love was more that of a jealous husbad, than a loving Sister-in-Law') I can't wait until I'm better at Spanish so I can read it in original language. Ah!

Also, Pedro Alomovodar, Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel are all born in the same year. 1949. Amazing. You gotta admit, that's a lot of talent for one single year.


Have nothing to say. Will go "attempt" chemistry (read: will go read more Spock/Kirk TOS recappiness) (Also, need to find more episodes. I've only ever watched one, but slash, Shakespeare reference and Spocks eyebrow? What could go wrong??)

Completely off that topic, I want to get into the Vatican library. I mean, that has got to be a database of so many ancient texts. Plus, they have the seventeen letters written by Herny VIII to Anne Boleyn. This is a man who leaves almost no documentation written in his hand. This is a man who is intergal in English history. This is the man who broke away from the Vatican to create the Anglican/Episcopalian Church, that still exsists today.

Why are these documents now in the Vaticans library? Call me insane, but I'm pretty sure thats not what Henry or Anne Boleyn wanted.
