Oh yes. Still a fangirl. *pinches their cheeks*

I find that high school students make about as much sense in a discussion as actual members of the Danish parliament. I'm not sure if that says more about us or them. Political café today, about Turkey's admission into the EU. Worringly, the man from the Danish Folks Party was rather charming and well spoken. Eek, very scary!

I am currently watching what seems to be a rather homoerotic movie, though I may just be confused because it involves Robert Carlyle, Alan Cumming and is produced by Gary Oldman. It's really hilarious though - in the style of A Knight's Tale except well pulled off. Really well pulled off. And I swear, Robert Carlyle's character (Plunkett) is head over heels for McCleane. Or at least wants to jump his bones. It's quite sweet, in a warped kind of yay!historic!fucked-up-itty-ness way. The plot? Two men become highway robbers in, what I'm guessing is, 1700th century England. Of course it doesn't go smoothly, and there's campiness and the pox and sex and just general ridiculousness and greatness. It's called Plunkett & McCleane and I very much recommend it, if you're looking for something light and easy. And weird.

Did I mention it has a very sexy Liv Tyler in it? Mm-hm.

Meanwhile my dad has started working again. It's really strange not having him around all the time; I never thought I'd miss it, but I do. Hm.

Also, I am a sucker for a gospel choir. In case you were wondering. A gospel choir or a piano and I'm sold and bought and quite possibly squealing on the floor in glee! I am easy, I tell you.

No offense meant, of course. ;-)

Weeeeeeell, one of my first real online fandoms was Oz, and my favorite character there was a serial killer, so I've had time to acclimatize to the idea. (Plus he's fictional, which helps.)

OH I KNOW THAT YOU ARE. DON'T LIE.
