there there, lamb

I have my official drivers license! It's all pink and the photo makes me look gorgeous and, err, not at all like me. I'm all eyes (a rather obvious consequence of being really, really pale and the photo being black/white). And, in honour of this, my father gave me a key to the car. Which is kind of awesome. And terrifying.

In other oddness, I was out for a beer with Signe yesterday, and ended up discussing Iran and Iranian history for three hours with this Iranian man who tried to chat me up. It was really odd, but also incredibly interesting.

Ooh, yay!!! That's all kinds of awesome!! I hope you'll get more out of having a license than me, because I haven't driven in a year now. Yes, I am pathetic...

It is!

And no worries on that front - I've become the family chaffeur.

Wait. They accept black & white pictures? ... damn. I look so much hotter in black and white.

Heee! Okay, really, this is just so *you*. I wish I'd been there, I really do.

They do - and the end result is in black&white anyway.

It was weird, but cool - I think he was a bit surprised to meet a Dane who knew so much about Iran. It would've been truly awesome if you'd been there!
