Gah. Seriously. Adam, what are you doing to Anthony? And could you possibly do it some more stop? It's very distracting.

Aw, they're *adorable*.

[identity profile] vampirespider.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 08:23 pm (UTC)(link)
They are.

Adam looks like he's about to bite Anthony's neck. It's kind of turning me on.

Also! What're you up to during Easter?

[identity profile] lattara.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 08:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Me, too.

Um. When is Easter again? I swer, I'd forget my own head if it weren't glued on. But I don't think I'm really doing anything. :)

[identity profile] vampirespider.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 08:31 pm (UTC)(link)
It's okay - my first thought was "in April". Because that really narrows it down. But after consulting Lectio, my lifesaver, it turns out that it's from the 8th-17th. But the point is kind of that I'm in Jutland from the 13th and forward and I haven't seen you in ages. And I'd like to remedy that.

When's best for you? And how long do you want to stay?

(Me: She followed me home! Can I keep her?
Dad: ...)

[identity profile] vampirespider.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 08:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Friday/Saturday would probably be best for me. And both days would be kind of awesome. Since it's been a long while and I'm sure we have a thousand movies to catch up on ;)

The 16th/17th? I don't think there'll be any problems, but I have to check with me Da, just in case. He sometimes foregets to tell me things (things that are important, even.

Dad: So, your cousin is finally out of the hospital. Whew. That's a relief.

Me: ... what cousin? What HOSPITAL? )

And hoo boy, will we have movies! (soon in: His Girl Friday, Robin Hood - Men in Tights and The Thomas Crown Affair).

[identity profile] vampirespider.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 09:07 pm (UTC)(link)

There's an opportunity to quote from Julius Caesar here, I can feel it.

But since I can't remember it - SOFIE FOR TYRANT!
ext_12785: A woman in a white dress, facing the camera, while the sunlight reflects off of the lens (Default)

Well, if you say so...

[identity profile] lattara.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 09:27 pm (UTC)(link)
I... haven't read Julius Caesar. Next you'll be telling me it required reading for this course. *sulks*

SOFIE FOR TYRANT!

Re: Well, if you say so...

[identity profile] vampirespider.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 09:29 pm (UTC)(link)
You should read it. Because A. It's an amazing play, B. it has some of the best line, and C. it's slashy as the get all out.

I feel a need for jackets coming on.

Re: Well, if you say so...

[identity profile] lattara.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 09:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Heeee. Well, it's Shakespeare. Of *course* it's slashy, he wrote tons of love poetry to men. (for which I am eternally grateful)

Possibly flyers, as well.

Re: Well, if you say so...

[identity profile] vampirespider.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 09:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Shakespeare is definitely one of things for which I am eternally grateful.

Oooh, posters.

Even if he ought to take some of his syntax and shove it somewhere the sun doesn't see very often (I'm not going to say "never shines" - people are so *kinky* nowadays).

Omg, yes. And tiny buttons we'll pin on everything.

*pets the you* I know what you mean. Hamlet?

Pure talent, baby! ;)

Most. Awesome. Campaign. Ever.

We totally need Toby to come be our your speech writer. You know it's true.

You're good. *boggles*

Ever.

Sam, too. Toby'd be all, That's ... really bad, Sam. And Sam'd be like, What's wrong with my writing? And Toby'd insult him, his schools, his momma and his cats in the space of two breaths and then...

Then they'd go looking for their talent! And then they'll stay up all night because they want to *nail* this thing, even when Sam has a date-that-is-not-a-date with Mallory ---

uh. I seem to have wandered of the point a bit. Where was I?)

AND IT WOULD BE AWESOME. And they'd do pedeconferencing, and stop in at Josh's office for the thing to do with the big thing, and Josh'd be snarky and Donna would mock him and it would be amazing. You know it's true.

YES! And then CJ would come by, and she'd be all, Toby, you wanna make out with me right now, don't you? And Toby'd be all, Well, when *don't* I? And then the President would come by and beat them all at chess! Except for Josh, he'll get to know everything there is to know about national parks. (see icon)

And then there'd be lots and lots of sex!

They so should've hired us to write instead of Wells. It would have been AMAZING!

Also, our icons match.

*giggles*)

[identity profile] vampirespider.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 08:55 pm (UTC)(link)
That'd be it, yes. And, of course.

My mother does that too! "Your uncle is getting married." "WTF, my uncle's *dating* someone?!"

I really, really *hate* it when it happens. Though I guess my father has an excue, his memory not really being what it was.

(Him: So when's that party you've been talking so much about?
Me: Next weekend.

10 minutes later.

Me: Oh, you should remember x and y - you, for that party?
Him: ... what party?)

[identity profile] vampirespider.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)
I've gotten used to it - as far as my mother's family goes, I am *always* the last to know. Unless it has something to do with my cousin ;)

It is annoying when family gathering suddenly turn up without warning though.

And yeah, my father does that as well.

I don't mind so much when it's just the news that, oh, so-and-so bought a new car. But when it's something like you're cousin is in the hospital or, hey, what do you know, your *other* cousin has just been diagnosed with a pretty serious depression, you sorta want to know right away, you know? If only so you can send them a *text message*, for God's sake, asking them how they are.

Wow. Apparently I had some bitterness I needed to get off my chest. What a relief. :)

[identity profile] vampirespider.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 09:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course *hugs you*

And s'what I'm here for, after all. :)

Handy-dandy and fits right under your bed when you're not using her.

Er. Or perhaps not.

You'll have to show me, then. :D

Suppose I must, then - what a hardship, eh? *winks*

I do in fact believe that TV Shop operates in a different time & space continuum than the rest of us. Possibly one that's affiliated with Hell.

It's a hard life.
