Beta Search
I am seeking a beta for something that might be either the most pretentious thing I have ever written, or actually pretty good. It's original, so no particular knowledge is needed, and it's for the '1000 word challenge'. Any takers?
For all that I detest snow at any time save for my Christmas break, it does look very pretty and peaceful now, with the moon out; it's incredible bright and clear. It helps that I am in a bit of a romantic mood; have been ever since I saw 'A Very Long Engagement' which was beautiful, absolutely beautiful. Recommended for everyone, particularly if you like wistful, hopeful movies. Which this was, oh God, it was so beautiful, and the characters so alive, so quirky. 'She plays the tuba because it reminds her of the distress signal from ships'. Though, it did help that I saw it with Rasmus - sometimes, I love him so much. Not in any romantic way, but just...just sort of because he's Rasmus, and he's sensitive, he's silly, he's stupid, inconsiderate, idiotic, stubborn and so much braver than me, so smart and so clever, so intelligent and incredibly insightful. Hm. He drives me insane, but he's something else, and he's my Rasmus and always will be, in a way.
It's incredible how uninsightful I am at near midnight. I should get to bed; will do so as soon as I finish this Sherlock Holmes fic. Saw a wonderful adaption of SIGN yesterday; not the Granada production, and not that faithful to canon (Miss Morstan was much, much younger than Watson and there was no romantic storyline there), but it had some wonderful Holmes/Watson; I enjoyed it greatly.
I should get to bed, really.

Sherlock/Watson scares me. Sure, I can see it's there, but it still scares me.
