when i'm home and i'm weary

I'm in a weird mood; I'm kind of vacillating between being serious, because I'm watching The West Wing, the first season, which is doing all kinds of odd things to me. The opening theme still, still makes me want to cry, or smile, or something. It does things to me. And then, these characters, these characters break my heart. The relationships, the inter-play between the characters is amazing; the obvious affection and love just takes my breath away.

And Aaron Sorkin can write anything and make me giddy. Which reminds me that I need to get a hold of Sports Night.

On the other hand, I am feeling all girly. I've been home half the day doing yoga in my really neat new sleepwear, watching first an episode of Grey's Anatomy and then listening to Lisa Loeb, and now I kind of want to paint my toenails. And giggle. And gossip.

This also means I'd like someone to rec me Grey's Anatomy fic. Preferably happy, femslashy, Meredith or Izzie-centric fic. But seriously folks, if you've got recs, I'm happy. I want girly fic!

ETA: Also, look how cute Lance and his boyfriend are!

Lance has excellent taste in guys. Reichen's hot and, from what I remember from when he was on TAR, very sweet and awesome.

Reichen is very hot, though there's still a tiny part of me from my early slasher days saying, what about JC?

And then reality reasserts itself. He looks very happy.
