Only in my world (well, okay, maybe a ficcers world, in general) is the excuse 'I just found a really long fic and I have to finish' useful as procrastination. I mean, I feel a responsibility to get to the end of this fic before I do anything else (possibly why I don't read much *long* fic these days), as much, if not more, than I feel responsibility to finish a book, or a film.

However, I really, really, really need to clean. I mean, my room is at the point where my dad thinks bombing it might be an improvement, and I have to agree.

But, man, I'm reading *plot*. For the first time in ages (ages being a week or so, but shh) and I want to finish.

Sofie, Tess, if this place is still a mess tomorrow, blame Tom Fontana.

ETA: Oh, man, I need a teeshirt that says 'English, motherfucker, do you speak it?'. Yes.

omg. I want a T-shirt like that, too. Or perhaps a shirt that says "pron". Just to get people to stare. Or, oh! On the front: "Shrödinger's cat is dead" and on the back: "Schrödinger's cat is alive". Because that would be *so* neat.

NO! I know what I want. I want a T-shirt that says "I'm smarter than you". In ancient Greek. Because *that* would be neat.

And, hey, I don't mind messes. As long as there's a place to sleep and a place to sit while watching TV/squeeing/eating whatever. You *have* seen my house, right?

True, but this place looks like the Nazi did a thorough search and then let them entire SA loose in here. And then finished up by hearding wild buffalo through. It's a *mess*. I can barely find the floor.

Who needs a floor? I mean, seriously. Just try to put the soft things where we're likely to tread on them, and we'll make do.

Hee, not a bad idea. But the cleaning woman comes tomorrow, and so I must.
