(no subject)

Re-did journal. No big changes.

Want to curl up and sleep, but have to do social studies, Danish for tomorrow [FECK], Spanish and don't even get me started on geog. Oh dear.

At least I'm feeling somewhat refreshed due to taking the dog for a walk. Went down to our lovely park, and kicked through leaves for half an hour wile the dog ran around terrorizing the bigger dogs. T'was all very pretty and calming and nice. Actually, the park is beautiful, it really is, and I love that it always looks exactly like it's supposed to for the time of year. So that was rather delightful.

School today was nothing to talk about, really.

Also, new icon. By [livejournal.com profile] instantphoenix. I'm in a bit of a fangeeky period.

All right, I shall take the bull by the horns and tackle soc.st. and then Danish.

I like the new look. Very autumn-y.

*pets you* God, do I know the feeling. Esp. now, as I'm doing Geography.

And, oooh. Love the icon.

Heh, me too.

I want to see Wilde again. Right now. Sadly, homework is preventing me from going to pick it up at the library.

I didn't even see it in the first place. Is it good?

[identity profile] vampirespider.livejournal.com 2004-11-09 03:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, it gets critized for making Oscar seem like a matyr. And it doesn't much focus on his writing as much as his personal life (read: Bosie).

However. It has an absolutely *wonderful* Stephen Fry as Wilde, the story itself is stirring and the acting is good. And it has 5 seconds of Orlando Bloom, which is the exact length of Orlando Bloom needed in a movie. sorry, couldn't help it.

It also has beautiful gay sex. You know you want to see it.

omfg. Want to see. Now.

... how explicit is it?

[identity profile] vampirespider.livejournal.com 2004-11-09 04:08 pm (UTC)(link)
When I saw it at cinemateket, they had rated it -18. I had to lie my way in (I was 14 at the time)

[identity profile] vampirespider.livejournal.com 2004-11-09 04:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Erhm, but a small check at Ché library rendered at 15 rating. IMDB rates it R.

... making it an even surer must-see. See? ratings are useful!

:P

[identity profile] vampirespider.livejournal.com 2004-11-09 04:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed.

Heh. I should rent it for next time I'm in Jutland. because we should see it together. *nods*

You mean the 13th?

Hopefully nothing at all!

[identity profile] vampirespider.livejournal.com 2004-11-09 04:53 pm (UTC)(link)
That or the 21st. Both suit me fine.

Oooh, but if it's the 13th I may be able to blackmail convince Tess to come along.

omfg. <3

But just found out that I'm visiting my grandmother that day. Sunday? Or the 21st?

[identity profile] vampirespider.livejournal.com 2004-11-09 04:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm. Well. Sunday might be a bit difficult, maybe it's better to make it the 21st. Though that's Clara's birthday and as such, we shall be deprived of Tess. Hm.

Much better, then. Except for poor Tessie. You both shall and will be very welcome!

[identity profile] vampirespider.livejournal.com 2004-11-09 05:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Thank you! I shall look forward to it!
