So, the English Ball is coming up (in, like, two months, but most of that time I'll be in Denmark, so let's call it soon), and even though I don't need a dress for it, I kind of want one. Specifically, I want this or this. They're both pretty, with sleeves and fuctional looking - I could particularly see myself wearing the Gwyneth one more than once. And yet - £85 is so much money. Do I really need another dress? But still, they're so pretty. And relatively easy to accessorize, I should think; particularly the Gwyneth would be lovely with dangling pearl earrings and some nice mid-heels.

I'm slightly worried about the fact that I'm using fashion as a way of relaxing. This...is not entirely normal.

In other news, the essay of doom has been finished; I am almost done with my presentation notes for tomorrow; and I've finished The Passion, so I'm not behind on any of my reading. Not ahead either, but if there's one thing the 6 hours of therapy and stress-workshops I've attended in the past week have taught me, it is that small victories are still victories. So, I am going to celebrate by spending 15 minutes looking at shoes and surfing Jezbel before I start on dinner. Mmmm.

(Also keep my fingers crossed that housemate R is working tomorrow instead of me, so I can go to town with Gemma.)

Honey, you forget: You're a *woman*. It's called retail therapy. *grins*

But I agree, 85 pounds is a bit much (although it would be less if you paid with your Danish Visa). On the other hand, don't you deserve a treat? And since it's two months away, haven't you got the time to save up for it?

Funny thing: the first dress is very me, the second dress is very *you*. :)

How did the workshops and the therapy go?

Retail therapy for great justice! All I need is shoes, and I am set.

Actually, not true. I am now conflicted between the Gwyneth, which is pretty and makes me look so posh, and then the Estrella, which is more multi-purpose. And also has polka dots, which apparently are very this season.

And, yes, the first dress is very *you*. Hmmm.

Okay, though I think everyone slightly overestimates the value of breathing. But more than anything, I think the fact that I've been excersizing recently has helped. Though it was nice to be told that I'm normal. :D

Shoe-aholic. But this is not news to anyone. Or at least anyone who has ever met you.

Hmmm. I like that a lot, too (and it's sort of a blend between me and you) - *and* it's cheaper, so you can buy yourself a pair of shoes, too. What's Gemma wearing?

Never underestimate the importance of breathing! Personally, I do it *every* day, without fail, and I find that I'm actually quite satisfied with it. When I forget I really start to feel like crap.

(but seriously - it sort of *is* the thing to remember, because controlling your breathing to a very large degree means controlling your arousal level)

Also? You've never been normal. That's the way we like you. ♥

It's veeery normal - just not for you ;)

I always buy more clothes when I'm reading for an exam, because I use internet shopping as procrastination. Not a clever thing :P

Also, you're going back to Copenhagen? When? Yay!

Hee! I'm usually saved by the fact that - due to being an odd size - I can't order things online, I have to go into town. But apparently this does not include dress shopping, which I'll happily do online. Hmmm.

I'm back in Copenhagen on the 8th of April, until the 23rd. Inbetween those dates, we must meet up and you can update me on, well, everything!
